My name is Glenda Bryan. I have been an educator for 34 years. The past 20 years, I have been the principal of Avondale Elementary School, the absolute best school in the world...at least in my opinion. Ü  July 1st began my last year, as I plan to retire June 30, 2016. There will be a lot of "last times" as I go through this final year with my staff, students, and their parents.  I know there will be a lot of emotions to go with that.  I plan to savor every minute of this last year and blog to be able to remember all that happens. I will be on vacation until July 13th.  I will share the happy times and the sad times. I have loved my chosen profession and can't imagine how it is going to be not getting up and getting ready to come to school. I guess I will know on July 1, 2016.
